47 Points of Water Channels in West Jakarta Developed

Around 47 points of water channels are developed in eight sub-districts. The development that is divided into four stages will be complete by the end of December 2018. 

We urge locals to maintain the channels that have been normalized 

West Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Head, Imron stated that the first and second stage of the development is focused on 22 roads in such sub-districts.

"22 packages of channel development with u-ditch installation have been completed," he expressed, Thursday (10/4).

Tomang Residents Invited to Maintain Water Channel

Third stage, he furthered, 17 packages of channel development are still under process. "As well as the fourth stage is planned to be done in eight roads whereby it is still under LKPP e-catalog process," he expressed.

The channel itself will have 30 kilometers length. It is realized to follow up locals' aspiration through Musrenbang and board member recess.

"We urge locals to maintain the channels that have been normalized in a bid to avoid puddles in the rainy season," he said.
